TV

I got it in a MGM set with Raging Bull and the The King of Comedy among others, still haven't watched it though.

Mwahaha, we don't care about Christmas or tradition and there are no small kids, we opened our presents last night, and some of them weren't even wrapped! (my sister is really lazy)

I am vaguely curious about The Woman, as I had really loved Lucky McKee's May, but I already didn't care as much for The Woods (it was ok, but very skippable); but it sounds really disgusting, how horrifying is it? As a point of comparison, while I managed to watch Audition until the end without hitting pause, I'm

It's been a while since I've seen Cruel Intentions, how does it qualify?
Would you have Dressed to Kill in the list? Or does it get a pass for being a meta-Hitchcock homage?

Movies

Popped by the whisky shop for some Christmas shopping yesterday.
There was a tasting of the Compass Box whiskies, took the opportunity to try a couple I didn't know, Spice Tree was amazingly sweet and drinkable, the kind of treacherous drink that you down without paying attention and gets you silly drunk; the Flaming

My mother's getting Downtown Abbey and a set of Italian neo-realist movies on DVD, my sister is getting early Hitchcock DVD set, and my father a bottle of Spice Tree whisky from The Compass Box; and as it was jut there, I got myself a bottle of Glenfarclas 21 YO.

Mediahint is your friend.

You shouldn't.

That's what we were told about semen in sex ed.

I thought I'd found one when I looked up Gengis Cohen, but it's a restaurant…

Do you want your kids to be sissies? Mine are called Walker and Texas Ranger. Manly names

No, that's not it…

Even though I haven't seen a single episode of the show since it ended, this is one of the few I remember, one line in particular, but it might have had to do with the French dubbing

It's been a while since I've watched Buffy so had to check which episode it was (and I've only ever seen it in French anyway), but had it been any other you'd decided to try, it's the one I would have pointed you towards (but not necessarily because it's the best one).

That's why I miss the stand-alone maps, I was never very good, and after a while, the campaigns start to be a bit challenging.
But it is indeed ridiculous fun regardless.
Doing 5 first is not necessarily a bad idea, 3 will have more of everything (do you have the extensions as well?), so if you like 5 you'll love 3

I've spent a few hours on HOMM V (not as many as on 3 though which is still my favourite of the series), I loved the campaigns, I unfortunately stopped towards the end of the Dungeon one, I was defeated after about four hours without saving, and I'm pretty sure that I'd before that made a stupid mistake in my hero

The Hebrew Hammer is amazing!

Thanks!
I'm under no illusion that a very important aspect of it is that my director really really doesn't want to have to go through the recruitment process and have to train someone, but hey, money and cool-sounding title! And we did genuinely work well together (as I am reminded every so often at the moment).
