George T. Stagg is the best, it's a shame it always sells out so quickly.

I just love Pulp, I'm more of an album than shuffle type of person, but it definitely put a smile on my face this morning, a lot more than if I had expected it.

Why would you want to change that?

It was between Venice and Mestre, I have family there so I'm not quite sure exactly where we were (apart from the visit of Venice on the Sunday), I just followed along.
Which part are you going to?

Went to a wedding in Italy and got to try Malvasia (IIRC), a sweet sparkling wine I had never heard of which was very very good, should you get the chance I recommend it.

If you've never tried Blanton's Gold, you should give it a try.

The Decemberists – Of Angels and Angles
Liars – A Ring On Every Finger
Pulp – Disco 2000
Serge Gainsbourg – Les Femmes C'est du Chinois
Serge Gainsbourg – Je Suis Venu te Dire Que Je M'en Vais

I think that's the problem (and why the humour ends up being so absurd), I doubt a lot of it was written beforehand, they even managed to make an entire additional movie with deleted scenes and sub-plots, which is hardly a sign that they knew what they were doing when shooting.

Nope, not my favourite of his (Mason & Dixon), but great fun. And another pretty good introduction to him.

I didn't like it at all when I first saw it in the cinema, saw it again last year and liked it a lot better then, but it's missing an overarching structure, and the jokes can be very hit or miss, with the improv nature of the movie making sure than they will drag on.

Is anyone else getting excited by the potential silliness?

I've not seen the theatrical cut, but the five hour version was the first Bergman I've seen, and it pretty much ruined all his other movies for me.

Only when the woman is menstruating, it gets dangerous because it attracts bears.

Watched season 1 of Arrested Development for the first time in a very long time (I'd say 7-8 years), I now intend on following up with the rest of the series (2 and 3 at least), which I hadn't for some reason when I had first watched it, might have been becuase I had then heard it wasn't as good, but time has come now

I will say it, it was better overall. BBT doesn't try for much but is competent enough to give the audience what it wants. Community didn't really know what it was doing and was overall a less enjoyable watch this season (than pretty much any Thursday show, it was always among the last ones I watched, unthinkable for

Thanks, Joey's one actually does make more sense then.

I don't really know anything about US sitcom history (Friends was pretty much the first to air in France, or at least to be taken seriously), but maybe that's one of the things we don't necessarily give the show credit for as it's now so common?

Thanks, I didn't remember the exact line.
But it was a great touch to highlight the personality of the agent (another great addition to the later episodes, in just the right dose too).
