Late to the comment party, but I actually took my younger sister to see him in concert at the Cobalt Lounge in Portland around 2000. It was a jokey surprise more than anything. Since 2005, every January 1st morning, the first song I play in the new year is "I Am, (I'm Me)" by Twisted Sister. It is such a great empowerment anthem to start the year off with.
