Self promotion dept: Speaking of Tic Tacs and Trump, I made this on Friday night:
(NSFW due to Trump talking)

Flew to San Diego to shoot video of Fred and Toody from
Dead Moon/Pierced Arrows at a small bar. Great show! Still a little tired since I was up until about 4am the previous night coding this up:

I bought Exile in Guville several times in the 90s. Generally I'd loan the CD to a girl…then never see the girl nor CD again. Didn't have the problem with the girl who later became my wife though….not only did she already have Exile, she also saw Liz on her first tour in 1993.

Yes, and in actual sound quality! I was so excited around 2000 or so when lower generation copies surfaced.

1995 was such a bleck year for me. I had very hissy copies of the Girlysound tapes via someone on the Guyville Mailing List (remember those, I actually still have the t-shirt). "Ant in Alaska" was such a treat to listen to that miserable year.

Long story short and details aside, friend in NY was moving his business into an office complex. Landlord called and said that the previous tenant got out of there in a hurry and left a bunch of stuff. Landlord said they could move in a week later and have the rent pro-rated, or they could move in on the 1st and

Reminds me I need to give Ween's Shinola Vol. 1 a listen, if only to hear "Gabrielle"…the greatest Thin Lizzy song they never wrote.

My doctor's office is there now. The last time I was in there I was roughly where the TVs used to be.

The Circuit City building I used to go to is now home to…my doctor's office.

I was waiting for someone to mention DIVX. That whole technology just seem like an apt metaphor for Circuit City. Half-assed solution to a soon to be non-existent problem.

re: Amway. Some advice in life I wish someone would have given me a lot sooner would be: "If you are in a 'job interview' and after 30 minutes they still haven't told you exactly what they do…walk out"

A few times when I've gone through the airport security line the agent will look at my ID, then at me, stern pause, then say "Hmm, 'Daniel Craig' you don't look like James Bond…"

To their credit they didn't say "none", but yeah, there are not that many. Ron Funches has been on also.

Agreed, I live just outside of the "cool" part of town in suburban Felony Flats/Misdemeanor Meadows. The is an Asian family that lives near me, one African-American family, and well, everyone else is white….including all the sketchy drug people roaming the streets at night.

Maybe they can finally ditch that damn Mojo machine and its slow ass 18 minutes a page transmission time.

Dr. Hook actually did make the cover of the Rolling Stone…but in cartoon form.

Next issue: The Top 50 Marketing Firms of All Time.

A relative of mine loved this show until he found out Tim Allen had been a drug dealer in his past, then he stopped watching the show completely.

Hardcore Bruce fan here…knowing that at the Sagniaw, MI show in 1978 he gives out his birthday. Also know that Ani Difranco turns 46 today.
