There is one in Argentina on July 2, 2019 if you are looking to get that South America visit in too.

I agree. I saw the totality but the photos don't capture the surroundings. Especially the "The Sun was just there….now most of it is gone!" feeling.

The eclipse was incredible. Even at age 44 it is nice to see something that made me feel like a little kid again. I experienced a total eclipse in 1979, but all I really remember is the playground having an unusual darkness for a little bit and then it was sunny again.

Reminds of the Nirvana line: "YOU CAN'T FIRE ME 'CAUSE I QUIT!"

Had to do a Control-F search figuring someone would make this reference! This line alone turned my sister (who does design/layout) into a huge Magnetic Fields fan. I played her the song and she was casually listening, but then burst out laughing when the "blue / 292" rhyme came on.

What? Something counterfeit and misleading for sale on Amazon? Never!

I can't find details…but didn't they license the song to a company (car maker? Honda?), then turned around and used the money to fund a campaign that was basically against what the company did?

One reason this game has held up for me is that it isn't an annoying ADHD-fest likes so many modern FPS games are.

Or even worse…in a school talent show. "Aw how cute, those kids are doing a lip sync to House of the Rising Sun and they are all wearing sunglasses!"

On a side note, most of them are also on Alejandro Escovedo's newest album. Heartbeat Smile is a damn catchy song:

No shit. My wife's family was visiting and we were watching that on the TV with the stereo turned up a bit. During Radio Ga Ga, I turned and my wife's 95 year old grandmother had her arms up and was doing a little jig as she sat on the couch.

Funches! Glad to see he is on more shows. Great guy. Saw him early on in his career and you could tell he was going somewhere.

I didn't know until recently that "Teacher, Teacher" was a Bryan Adams song and an outtake from Reckless (or at least recorded around that era)

- "That thing you all like, here is why you should not like it"
- "Wow, look at my navel. Let's talk about my navel"
- "My partner and I swore off this sexual taboo, then tried it…and now our lives will never be the same"
- "Sorry Liberals, Trump is right on a few things but you can't realize it"
- "I had a stressful

[movie starts]

A friend just gave me a bunch of his old mix tapes. The best part is that they all have titles like "Stuff volume one, More Stuff, The Return of Stuff, Stuff IV, Yet More Stuff, Stuff Stuff Stuff", "Wow, more stuff"

Would have been better had they just released the damn thing on an actual VHS HiFi tape, then I could have a use for that damn Magnavox HiFi VHS player I've been lugging around for 15 years now.

…and then Carol said: "What should we do now? Hey, that look you are giving me…what are you suggesting?"

A friend of mine says he has to believe that life begins at conception, only because his mom was pregnant with him when she attended Woodstock.
