Every year in Portland there is the Prince vs. Bowie bike ride that is a lot of fun. People dress up and ride all over town in a big group blasting Bowie and Prince songs.

Was trying to see how many tickets got cancelled but didn't see anything…he does have 5.1m liking his Facebook page though. Looks like he still plays to big crowds.
I'm surprised I can't find anything online about it. Years later in the 80s they did a TOH "highlights" episode and they talked about that episode in particular.
I wish it was online somewhere, but there was an episode of This Old House where the homeowners and folks from the show demolished the inside of their house down to the studs. Towards the end, the conversation went something like this:
Or 87's Love Passageway.
Nitpick corner #2: Alameda St. is in Portland proper and has a lot of posh homes on it.
Whoo boy, those comments on Allman's Facebook page though.
Fun fact: they share the same birthday.
At least half of those I could hear at a high school dance. Oh what a sheltered time not knowing there was anything better out there.
Way too much dumb filler (Get in the Ring) on UYI while Appetite is solid the whole way through.
Paid $100 for my GA ticket in Portland. (They were 150 at box office). Show was not sold out though. Some reserved search were much higher though.
Yeah! I actually need to start listing to this site again, played it a lot when it came out.

Hipster this, hipster that, hipster bashing….yes the jokes were funny but it has just became exhausting by this point. It is like having to listen to someone give a lecture on the mistakes of the George W. Bush administration. We know already, we agree, move on.
On a related note, it seems t-shirt sizes have changed. When I was in high school 20 years ago, an XL t-shirt is what I always would wear, any "Large" would be a bit snug. Nowadays, 20 years later and at least 20 pounds heavier, I can get away with wearing a medium and a large feels a little big.
You know she is a big GD fan though? (or maybe that is what you were getting at). There was an interview with her in Relix magazine years ago.
or Brown Eyed Women. I really disliked that song until I started hearing the 77/78 version that had a faster tempo.
Yes, and if you don't succeed it means you didn't work hard enough. That is the only valid reason apparently.
yeah, I've heard this too. Saw him open up for the Grateful Dead 21 years ago and his stage banter spent a bit too long on talking about young girls. I'm sure some hippies mellows were in fact, harshed, that day.
Which sheesh, in another three years I'll be the same age as Mick Jagger was when they played Shea Stadium on that tour.
Yup, Saw Iggy last week. Dude is cut pretty well and full of energy.
