that and:

I'll never forget when in 8th grade computer glass the teacher was wondering why the Imagewriter printer was running…forever. Turns one of the stoner kids in my computer class was printing out a PrintShop banner reading "FUCKING PARTY HEARTY DUDES AND ROCK AND ROLL FOREVER!!!!!!".

Somewhere I read an article about working in a SF (I think) pirate radio station. If you heard one of the incredibly long versions of Sister Ray being played…that was a signal to the other DJs listening that the next person hadn't shown up for their shift and someone needed to come in.

Due to disqus you might not have received a notification, but read Corey's comment on this thread to me…that is NIN thing is blowing my mind that it ties the two together, intentional or not.

I had no idea..this is really blowing my mind. Thank you Mr. H!

That is odd..I thought being the daughter of the Simon in Simon & Schuster, retirement would be a non-issue. Then again, I know a few folks who have pretty meager living standards even though their parents are very well off. The parent's money always comes with strings attached.

And another past tense thing relating to Jagger: She writes "well you said we made such a pretty pair", then a few months later Goats Head Soup comes out and the song Starfucker has the line "You and me made a pretty pair…" Coincidences aside (conspiracies much more fun!), either she heard an early version of the

I've only ever kept mine since it is the only way of contacting some folks (or people keep contacting me there), but I went through and muted everyone and that has been nice, hence I only log in every few days. I had two computers running a script for about 24 hours going through and "deleting" everything from my

There is a photo too taken that night that really creeps me out. Honestly though, watching the computer simulation of people trying to exit and couldn't was what really got to me. Although they were just colored blocks moving around, but knowing they represented people, yeah, better to stay in the dark sometimes.

I would be happy with even just an Izzy Stradlin solo tour. I really like his solo albums but he doesn't seem to tour at all.

I've seen him do that joke about 10 times now and it still does not get old.

He's a really nice guy too, a few years ago he held up #4 for a calendar project I have going (which is somehow extremely popular with the Brazillian 16-24 age demographic):

Oh for fuck's sake, now we are getting into conspiracy land like that horrible blog link (now twice deleted) discussed elsewhere on this article. You obviously have never hiked the PCT.

I've stressed this to other hikers, take photos of the people you meet along the way…that can only be captured once, you will lose contact with them and/or they will get older. Unless it is some crazy sunset, scenic spots are a dime a dozen only an image search away.

Yeah, it is a little bizarre though coming across stuff like this. I found an old SLR camera that had about a half used roll of film in it from 1995. I got it processed and it was pretty grainy, but I still could recognize a few faces and memories I had completely forgotten about.

Man,I guess there is actually something worse than receiving a rejection form letter…it is a buggy rejection form letter.

This is like saying "I'm not a Deadhead but I like their music"

The "no photos" comment on the blog was what clued me into the fact that she is a younger writer. Old man card again, but there used to be this thing called "film" and if you were on a budget, it was a bit expensive and you had to wait a long while to see if your photos were blessed with things like focus and correct

It is awesome! You don't have to do the whole thing…Washington state is downright lovely and can be done in a little over a month.

(since you won't get an alert about my other comment), it is actually a woman writing all of that.
