I've seen this blog before and it is frankly, childish, ignorant, and a little disturbing with its obsession. I've never read Wild and only have ever seen the movie, which I was laughing about the parts that were a bit away from the PCT. (eg Smith Rock in Oregon).

When I was in the fifth grade, a friend of mine had a relative who had a friend that actually SAW them play in concert. It blew my rural eastern Washington mind that a band I liked could be seen in concert.
