This almost reads like an "Ask a Pat Benetar Fan" article in The Onion.

I love this story.

In Bellingham, Wa there was a big sign for this over I-5, but the "G" was burnt out.

Still my favorite Onion ever, if only because I have been that poor sap fixing her car/computer/etc.

Get that flower!

I drug my girlfriend (now wife) to this landfill in 2006. I spent a good two hours wandering around there. It is basically a large patch of sagebrush that used to be outside of town…but now town is spreading outwards. You basically park at the Sonic and wander past the old car parts and human feces to get to the

Last time I ate at a Sizzler was when I was hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 1996. Was in South Lake Tahoe, spent three hours there eating…only to be curled up in the fetal position on the sidewalk my stomach hurt so bad.

Ah, good point.

To this day, when I am carrying dirty clothes to the washing machine in the basement I sing: "I'm doin' laundryyyyyyyyyyeaaahhh!"

That robot could fly an SR-71 Blackbird, so it wasn't really "useless"

No "does not compute!" or "processing!" quips

Some of the best Grateful Dead jokes I ever heard was in the parking lot outside the Autzen stadium shows in Eugene 1994. There was about 15 of us in a circle, male, female, older, younger, etc. None of us new each other for about ten minutes there we had a little comedy club going.

I didn't know that. Actually, yeah, looking at this pretty well done (but blocky quality) blooper compilation there are several:

There was one on TPIR that I saw in the 80s where the woman spun the wheel and promptly landed on her butt pretty hard.

No, I think this might have been before all of that.

A pilot friend of mine who has the unique trait of not being into pop culture at all, but has a crazy knack for ending up in situations that most people would be excited about. (eg, flying the plane that dropped the parachutists out in the original Red Dawn, flying Bruce Springsteen between gigs, etc).

All of which sport the text "Last updated: [current year - 3])"

I generally only play Tuesday's Gone after the kegs got tapped and recovering from getting punched in the nose. I just HAD to try and stand up for myself.
