To be fair, Threshold sucks balls.

It's hard to argue with any of what you said, though I'm actually enjoying All-New X-Men quite a bit. I've been told I'm giving Bendis too much benefit-of-the-doubt here, but I think it's actually really smart. In the off chance anyone is interested, I've been blogging about all of the comics I'm reading here: http://r

Man, I guess I should be reading Prophet, huh?

Turns out, Owlman actually says "who" a lot. No joke.

It's kind of unfair to summarize a story in a sentence, then chastise the story for being longer than that sentence. Or, if not unfair, then equally damning of every story, ever.

@avclub-61e626641b507015d1d403d2ecdd02fb:disqus You acknowledged that it was unprofessional for DC to let her know via email. She has a relationship with them, and rather than coming up with a plan for what to do with her, or even scheduling a meeting, they told her she was done with an email. If she's not supposed to

If it's unprofessional to fire someone by email, how can it possibly be unprofessional to discuss how unprofessional it is? I think Gail has been extremely classy about this, insisting that nobody is the villain here.

I totally agree - I was particularly enamored of the references to Morrison's Batman and Robin. The convoluted relationship between the DCnU and Morrison's Batman epic confuses and fascinates me. We've actually reviewed both of those issues over on my blog:

I think Dan's point about the limitlessness of these identities makes the distinction between "orientation" and "preference" moot. Like, "gay" and "straight" don't really reflect anyone's actual preferences, and in fact, some people have vary narrow preferences (for tall blonde guys or Asian girls or petite black
