I think Dan's point about the limitlessness of these identities makes the distinction between "orientation" and "preference" moot. Like, "gay" and "straight" don't really reflect anyone's actual preferences, and in fact, some people have vary narrow preferences (for tall blonde guys or Asian girls or petite black

Didn't Professor Xavier die in the third one? (Yes, I understand that his scenes could take place before that and/or comic book characters never die, but I'm holding out hope that, as with Superman III and IV, Singer is just refusing to acknowledge that that movie ever happened.)

My point is, the interaction itself isn't sexual, he's just sexualizing it. Unless these are thought police we're talking about, this guy having sexual thoughts about AN ENTIRELY CONSENSUAL, NON SEXUAL encounter hasn't done anything illegal. Creepy, sure, but not illegal.

"considered going to the police when she realised what was going on"? On what grounds? That he was aroused by a non-sexual thing that transpired between consenting adults? Like, if I got off on buying bagels, would the clerk at the bagel place be able to go to the police? They could be creeped out by it, sure, but I

I don't understand your objection — he's simply having a wonderful Christmas time.

I'm really pulling for that R2/Ewok love story we all know we wanted to see.

I really miss the old format for these. The short videos of the whole crowd enjoying (or not) the item in question were a lot more fun than these kind of aimless, one-take jobs. These also feel really low-stakes. None of these really had the potential for absolute disaster — even the kisses, which seemed to go over

I've been saying this all along. That movie has dinosaurs! Name a thing better than that. I dare you!

I'm curious how you guys approach comprehensiveness for a list like this. Did you have a master list of 90s movies that you start with? I only ask because, for half of these, my reaction was "oh yeah, THAT movie was released in the 90s." I suspect you all have a better memory for those details than I do, but I also

I'm not going to cast aspersions on Groundhog Day making the Top 50, but I'm having a hard time placing it at 15, especially ahead of so many fantastic films. I get that Schindler's List and Groundhog Day are apples and oranges, but the ordering still seems weird to me.

@avclub-68e8e6860586596c1e7a37aa64d3fba4:disqus I'm right there with you on Wonder Woman, All-Star Western, Daredevil, Hawkeye, and Saga. I'm also really loving Animal Man, but since I'm also loving Swamp Thing, I'm really excited for Rotworld. I'm also really digging the Flash, Batman, and Batwoman (I may be a bit
