I feel like "to recreate his natural habitat" is such a vital part of the joke.  I've stopped trying to reference Mitch Hedberg, since I can't do it without also trying to talk like him.

Take that, Mike Love!

I'd definitely agree that The Sandlot is the better of these three movies.  I'll take ramshackle vignettes over high-concept plotting any day of the week.

Well, it's not quite a mop, and it's not quite a puppet…so to answer your question, I don't know.

[cast of Community groans]

Eh, he's louder in Twin Peaks, but I think the really distinctive thing about the way he talks is his peculiar cadence.  That's not an affect for the role, but actually just the way he talks.

That's actually how he talks:

His ass is gonna blow!

Not that sad, he could easily edit his post to something that makes @avclub-2bc89f96d5af36cd7c598b934297491f:disqus's comment seem callous and inappropriate, which would actually be kind of funny.

I like that of all the comments Sean could have replied to, he chose this one just so he could be catty.

Threnody is definitely in there.  I'm trying to hold myself to that no googling thing, so I can't verify that any of his other stuff was used in The Shining.

I'll "like" this if you can name a single other piece by Penderecki (without google, that is).

That edit feature sure is great, huh?

Man, I really hate "Best Thread Ever" comments, but seriously guys…good job.

Dweezil was also born long before this episode, so "ANYMORE" doubly doesn't apply.

Sure!  Sorry it's not in packets.

[laughing] Yes, once.

Uhh…Homer wanted the Dallas Cowboys.

Hahaha.  "These zombies aren't realistic enough"

@avclub-5171864ab150444a2bcff2d4c52d3064:disqus that sounds an awful lot like something someone might say when resisting things like electric lighting or indoor plumbing.  I'm already used to these things that aren't convenient, so I'm not won over by this convenience that I don't expect.
