Hmmm, thanks lone audience, I'll buy that. Or at least, I understand the intention of the movie a little better, but I'm still not convinced by the drama. Maybe I'm too cynical or jaded to agree with it (and I don't say that with any arrogant pride, there's nothing I hate more than knee-jerk cynicism or irony), but

Pretentious Guy-

i really like what you just said, so i'm just posting so i can find this comment later. yep, no other purpose to this comment. none at all. aaaaaaaaaand done.

Man, I miss Amelie Gillette
Now I actually have to watch this to find out how different celebrities will "bring the indie". This stupid awards show is meaningless without the Hater.

As much as I'll hate to, I gotta give Please Give a shot, if it's that good. The Social Network was tainted by the hype but nevertheless it was pretty great.

I know what you mean, JCar. That irrational contempt is the reason I can't stand Catherine Keener, and couldn't see that movie Please Give. I know she's a good actress, and that movie is supposed to be alright, but I can't watch something like that without hating the entire premise and everyone in the movie. What

How is the Joker from "Under the Red Hood" the worst joker ever? I liked him, but I don't understand some peoples standards. C'mon, he wasn't worse than the joker from "the Batman" animated series. That one has to be the worst.

I couldn't be cynical about this either, but I really don't want this to happen anymore. There's no way Bill Murray will be doing this, and it sounds like it will be a fucking disaster. Maybe just another videogame sequel.

Let's not forget that crappy Pink song used for the trailer. Blegh!

This review gives me more hope
I was gonna see this in theaters anyway, even though my instincts told me this would be a turd, but i had a little hope. Man, I'm kind of afraid this will be another Princess and the Frog. What a mediocre, often cringeworthy movie that turned out to be after the ton of praise it got.

Oh wait, she voiced Barbie in toy story 3, thats cool.

That would be great sarCCastro, but you know real voice actors don't get work anymore.

YEAH! I remember that too! I was like, "that looks like shit".

Well, you should check out the old russian animated "the Snow Queen" by Lev Atamanov. It has pretty great animation, reminded me a lot of the old Fleischer Superman cartoons, and the story takes some surprising turns. Hayao Miyazaki has said that the movie's a big influence on him. So after watching that movie, I

"Hellfire" is the best, but I think a near equal is Ursula's song "Poor Unfortunate Souls". Best part of the Little Mermaid, after which it sort of drops in quality, but it's still great. "Be Prepared" is pretty great too.

I bet she thought it would be funny…
if she went into Claire's Accessories and said "I'm Claire, and these are my accessories" and just started taking stuff, lol, who cares that place is stupid.

The guy that was digging holes earlier (dale?) had a lot of blood and viscera spattered all over his face too. And if they wash in the lake, will that contaminate the water? Maybe they have a lot of purell or something.

I sorta thought that Ed might be a pedophile, but there's really nothing to justify that, so I thought something similar to what L-o-l-a just posted above because it's just more interesting. Also his daughter didn't seem like a victim of molestation, I thought she looked like she was pretty well taken care of.

Bonnie Wright
What is it exactly that bothers you about her as Ginny? I think she's cute so maybe that blinds me to her crappiness, but I've always thought that she as Ginny comes across as very capable and mature, the adult among the Weasley siblings.

I liked half-blood a lot but I won't argue. I'll just say that the scene in the cave with Harry and Dumbledore is just beautiful. Not just the performance from the actor playing Dumbledore which I found pretty moving, but I could go through that scene frame by frame just to stare at how it looks.
