Now that's what I call enthusiasm!

I think it's a fascinating case study of how much of an influence one person can have on a show if they want to, if it's possible. I've always had a bit of a problem with auterist viewpoints, not that I know how the sausage is made really, but just instinctually, so this was pretty eye-opening.
lllllllllllol
There probably would've been one eventually. *sobs*
Huh. I didn't realize McKenna is now a co-showrunner. That sounds like a good idea and probably should've happened a long time ago.
I haven't started it yet because I don't have HBO right now but will again soon. It'll be my fault if it gets canceled.
Of course not. I was making any connection I could between Lifetime and Enlightened because they have nothing to do with one another. But because you didn't back up what you said with anything, I did as best I could.
I don't know where I'd rank it, but I still wish Please Like Me had gotten more attention.
I think you could easily argue both. It's not like everyone was going to find out about that choice that she made, not like how they'd find out about her taking down the company. I wish I could remember more examples that I would have from the end of the season but it's been a while since I've watched it. I would say…
I was just referring to some people who have been saying Enlightened came out of nowhere and are citing certain lists that didn't have it at all. They were acting like it wasn't on any lists. I think BB is on more lists because more people have watched it and it's not as divisive as Enlightened. Of the few people who…
That's…a good point.
I loved the way the season wrapped up but in this case, the journey was barely worth the destination. I get what they were trying to do but it shouldn't have felt so much like work to get to the fireworks factory.
Agree to disagree. Ritter was far and away my favorite part of Bitch23.
It was the first article in the Top 15 Best Of series. So it's Top 15. Rejoice.
Misery loves company.
Hating things is fun though so win-win!
The AV Club has published several pieces on it and reviewed every episode. But then, not everyone is an AVC regular.
No, not really.
A lot of this is true but I think part of her also wanted to do good sincerely. At first, probably not, but I think her intentions get more and more legit as the series goes on. But she is a woman of multitudes, which is partly why the series was great. She had a lot of conflicting motivations and people are going to…
Are you new to the internet? There would've been a huge fight no matter what would've won. I don't know why this choice pisses you off so much; it's really bizarre.
