I've been curious about that show. It's on my list but not very high up because I don't hear much buzz about it. Is it really worth the time investment? Is it S1 Arrow or now Arrow, at least eventually?

I loved that scene. The problem was that that scene was never dealt with and followed through.

The Adam-Shiri arc was ambitious and started out really well. But in the end, it proved too difficult for the writers to pull off. There were some great, tough scenes in there but the that arc needed way more care if the writers wanted to actually pull it off.

I wouldn't put it the way you did, but I do agree with what you have to say when it comes to Girls. I think TMP wanted to do that but failed from the outset. NG started out with some of that but Jess' story got completely drowned out by the popular male characters and her romance with one of them. I do enjoy those…

I agree that New Girl is way too muddled right now, though I think it could find a way it of that. But saying that TMP is better is a bridge too far. NG actually has good characters so it at least has something to work with.

It's nice to have another show for pop culture nerds on TV. And fetishists, apparently.
