@avclub-31350fd379f37e2008ddb6da765a3bbe:disqus I don't understand this comment. Did you mean to reply to me? For one thing, among many, what interview, which would have had to have been extremely recent, are you talking about?

Test.

They're considering adding forums so we'll see.

There are people who don't stay parked on this site all day?

Papa Don't Preach

Hahaha you said Twilight.

Hey genius, a Mary Sue character would never be given as many serious flaws as Olivia has been given. You're clearly not grasping any of the subtext of the show or what Mary Sue even means. I sentence you to 500 more hours on TV Tropes so maybe one day you'll know what you're talking about.

He's also a murderer so there's that…

That interview made me a Scandal true believer. Rhimes is aware of how toxic a relationship that is and dealing with the fans is going to make it hard to follow through on that premise, so I feel for her.

More like poor Jason Ritter.

They showed his closet and it consisted entirely of identical suits like he's a cartoon character.

So far, those two are basically wallpaper. Colorful wallpaper, but wallpaper nonetheless. They need to find time to do something with them and fast.

Humor is definitely crucial for this show and I'm glad that they at least seem to realize that. And yes, comedy is often built on good characterization, so until they have that, it's going to be harder for them to incorporate more complex jokes.

I complain about this all the time, to the point where it makes me sound like a monster, but I could not be more sick of the whole dead/broken family = automatic character development/audience sympathy. I get that it works in a pinch but it's so lazy and overused that it just makes me mad now.

I was really impressed by the actor's hand gestures during his lecture about all of the gravity stuff. I love that that is the one thing making that character stand out for me at the moment…dude's dexterous. Take advantage of his strengths, show! The People demand more hand gestures.

This was actually the first episode where I liked Skye, and I'm pretty relieved about that since it seems like they want her to be an integral part of the show. The whole "we need people to sympathize with her so we'll give her a sad backstory" felt cliche and forced, but she was cracking me up at the party during her
