Stay away, Getaway,
Getaway, stay away,
Stay away, Getaway,
You're hopelessly hopeless!

Might as well lump the entire Sandler roadshow in with that one.

Man, I knew the investigating officer was the head magician the whole time. It was the ultimate sleight-of-hand!

Late '80s comic book geek battle cry: "Michael Keaton? Are you kidding?"

He's the poor man's Jonah Hill. Or was, until Hill lost a bunch of weight.

One of those times was actually an okay movie. The other was a series of romantic comedy cliches with a 1980's setting as the only thing to distinguish itself, though a lot of people seem to love it.

(shakes head)

When do we get to see the movie version of The Troll Twins of Underbridge Academy by Homer, Bart, Patty, Principal Skinner, Moe, and Professor Frink? (Neil Gaiman is the credited author, but we know how it REALLY went down!)

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles' Dean Winters. (One of many times I discovered an actor through what was not their best work.)

You, madam, have heroine in your veins.

Joaquin shadow of him.

Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait…..

They should make a TV series out of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels. Took them long enough to develop that Katherine Heigl mediocrity that was crapped out in January with little fanfare. A TV series could cover more ground, and I'm sure the guys they got for Morelli and Ranger could reprise their roles.

Katy Perry - *shrug*

And, just like three years ago, I'm going to point out that this premise is similar to Tom Perrotta's "The Abstinence Teacher", a book whose film adaptation is still stuck in development.

I WILL come on JJL.

Funny People > Sandler's usual shit.

People seem to worship at the altar of Guillermo Del Toro. If a lesser director had done this exact same movie, it would probably be dismissed with indifference.

They shoulda just called it "Transformers 4". Then it could have been the good Transformers movie instead of the lazy, mediocre Guillermo Del Toro movie.

This is EXACTLY how crap like "Alvin" and "The Smurfs" make money.
