"— Omundson thrusting the sword in and out of the stone was hilarious and a great sight gag."

I've heard the same thing. Also, I know ABC execs take a lot of other things into account outside of ratings, just because they're harder to account for these days, plus there are people at the network who really fight for the show. Hopefully there'll be a season three!

Just made a similar joke in the comments above, but long after you posted this, so just wanted to make sure you got the credit!

Roswulf is right. The first season's definitely entertaining, if a little uneven, but it really figured out what it was this year. And Omundson's been a highlight throughout.

Still need to watch Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. My friend and fellow TV critic Allison Shoemaker swears by it, plus one half of the songwriting team behind Fountains Of Wayne does the lyrics!

Couldn't agree more!

Love me some Allan A Dale!

After finishing the interview, I thought to myself that he'd probably make for a really great Random Roles feature as well.

It's Silver Beard Week here at The A.V. Club!

Same here! The question burns in my mind, as if ignited by (bearded) dragon flames.

Oh man, that was him??? Holy cow…

Many thanks to you for reading! Here's hoping for season three.

Same here! Now, Bad Son trying to kill his father is something I actually wouldn't mind.

It's funny, too, because Lorin or Loren or Lauren or whatever his name is is such a small part of the novel. I wouldn't mind the romance introduced to the series between him and Amberle, if, once again, it added anything of worth to the story. But like just about all the other new stuff, it doesn't.

See, I've always viewed "Rapture" as being one of the first instances of rapping on a popular song, but to each his own.

If we're being technical though, the horse was inside HIM. Although he's an animal, too, so…

You really are a snarky skunk…

But you see so many Scottish butts in it!

American Dad never came up. What's the hiding-in-animal thing that happens on that?
