That may well be true. It's all a big, sad mess.

That's true. It's insane and terrible as a concept that pursuing a case like this (and all that comes with it with regards to the public's response) is so hard on the victim that they would consider letting their attacker go free just to be rid of it.

She did publicly say the words "I forgive him", so I opt to take that statement at face value.

I wish this monster would go to jail, but if Geimer has found it in her heart to somehow forgive him and she needs to case to end, then I suppose him going free is the price to pay.

I agree, although I wish I cared a bit less sometimes.
I have this weird need to have everybody like me, and this even includes people that I don't particularly like myself.

I hate him quite badly, which is odd, considering the fact that he's a complete stranger to me.

I would agree. However, in my experience, academic legal writing (as in, textbooks or scholarly texts) does tend to be high in esoteric language and big words seemingly used exclusively to show off the size of the author's vocabulary.

I like Comey. A lot. Quite the impressive testimony he is giving!

Airstrike Bud?

Luckily I'm safe there, as I fall into the far more noble category of people who read about life hacks, think they're pretty cool, bookmark them and then never ever muster up the motivation to actually do them.

But-but-but I have three upvotes! You can't possibly know that at least one of those doesn't come from somebody else that was charmed by that silly tanktop and his laidback demeanor!

Poor Barry. For goodness' sake, that's terrible. This report was very well made too and deserves to go viral. Pretty hard to deny the existence of institutionalized racism when the facts are put out there like this. Also: if it's apparently common knowledge that those fieldtests are unreliable, why are they still

Wait is this one of those anology tests? Can I try?

Might work in a noise pollution case.

Shopping carts are appendicitis!

As somebody with a law degree I should probably be able to come up with a substantive and coherent argument, but the one thought that comes to mind is: "Aww, is baby going to cry?"

Oh, no.
I have to say, as somebody who has been following his show for years and has paid good money to see him live because I enjoy his work quite a bit, I'm sorely disappointed. What a crappy, ignorant thing to do.

Wish I had a pithy response, but boy this stuff is scary and sad.
Hoping that this turns out to be a false alarm.
