Huh. Shows what I know about playing the guitar.

I love Shout, such a great song. Is that one hard to play?

I handed in the first draft for my thesis on Friday- just in time. I'd been insanely stressed out about making my deadline, so that was a huge relief.

It really seems like the contestants are just set dressing this season.
That was kind of the case in the first season too, but this time around almost none of them seem to have any shading at all.

Isn't intellectual property law fascinating?
When I was interning last year, I really enjoyed writing memos on IP.

Huh, that's interesting. I'd never heard any of that before.

Holy moly, I can't believed I missed that. That's pretty big. And sad.

That's true. I was at a We Are Scientists show once and this one guy had his phone up in the air, above his head, the whole time. He couldn't have been getting good footage given how dark the venue was.

Glad to know I'm not alone on that.

See also: Cash.
She was basically a demon this season.

Yeah, I think Deacon needs some serious therapy to get rid of his anger issues.
I was glad that Rayna displayed an appropriate level of anger after Deacon beat up his business partner and ruined Maddie's trial. She lets him get away with way to much crap, if you ask me.

Luke leaving the music business seems like a solid idea. I'm sure he has enough money to retire on, even after his whole image crisis.

I can't lie, I actually didn't see the whole "Layla leaks her relationship with Avery to the press to gain fame"-thing coming right away.

You're exactly right. Avery and Luke both got solid redemption arcs, while Deacon is stuck in an endless cycle of failure.

O my gosh that lady just totally disappeared! They got rid of her in such a strange way, too. I mean, burning out her car and then never explaining who did it and why?

I agree, Luke was quickly becoming my favorite character with the way he was (spoilers?) sticking up for Will.

That seems.. Oddly masochistic. Kind of sad, too.

Wait, really? Why?

I'm glad Hayden Panettiere is feeling well enough to return.

Yeah well, it snowed the other day so global warming obviously isn't a thing.
