O wow, those emotional blackmail memes are the worst.

I have an acquaintance who used to post sad quotes multiple times a week, yet refused to tell anyone who commented what was wrong.

That really is sad. It's just sad all around.

Oh, my goodness.
"I thought we were just going to remain so I voted leave for the heck of it and now we're actually out and I feel like a bit of a dummy".

I truly wonder if this will be permanent. I hope not.

I am not by any means saying that all trade will come to an end.
But leaving the EU will have an impact on the conditions under which that trade takes place.

It's so complicated.
On the one hand, democracy is important and everyone should have a voice.
On the other hand, some issues are truly complex and hard to understand and should probably be handled by the people whose job it is to understand them.

I am not by any means saying that the EU is perfect. It is not and it never has been, nor will it ever be. The Union's treatment of the countries you mentioned during the credit crisis wasn't anywhere near perfect, either.

It's true.
Wilders, Le Pen, all the usual suspects are having an absolute ball with this.

It's kind of scary, isn't?

Oh, I wasn't trying to imply that she's not a world-famous comedian.
I know that she's a big deal.

Wow, Heineken Music Hall? That venue holds 6000 people.
I had no clue she was big enough here to attract a crowd that size.

I don't know if you're Dutch, like me, but I really believe it will.
I've read up on this, and even the Capital Economics report that Wilders is touting as overwhelmingly positive warns of the potential for a credit crisis and the near-certainty of banks needing a bail-out.

That was an interesting read.
It's a scary thought, someone potentially becoming president in spite of himself.

Gosh, Britain. I just really wish you hadn't done this.

I mean, there are a lot of bad things happening in the States, I think everyone (including many Americans) can agree on that.
But America has a lot going for it, too. It doesn't deserve to be ripped to pieces by Trump.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but the parts I saw were pretty funny.
The comedian who spoke (Dolf Jansen) was a lot funnier than I expected.

Oh, yes.

The Netherlands.

That's big part of it, too.
