I definitely get mad at McDonald's commericals. The level of pandering and tone-deaf "hipness" is insulting, even to the people who can be fooled into thinking Mickey D's is anything better than a cheap fried chicken outlet.

He's a kid with good rhythm. That's it. You can't even say he built himself up from nothing, because all he did "by himself" was post some youtube videos. After that, he was completely manufactured. I don't loathe him for this, but I can see how some others resent him for his dumb luck.
