What's the deal with putting all those birds on it?
What's the deal with putting all those birds on it?
It's just staggering to me that the Simpsons can air a character death episode and a Family Guy crossover episode on literally the same night and actually maintain the pretense that they're not entirely bereft of ideas and creativity.
This would be my answer too. City of God was so riveting, phenomenal and striking, it seemed unmistakable this this was a film that announced Meirelles as a gifted and innovative director for decades to come. And I thought Gardener was solid enough, but that was mostly due to performances rather than memorable…
I was a producer on a film about the world of 3D printing called Print the Legend. It was acquired as an original documentary by Netflix and it'll be streaming starting Sept 26th. You can watch the trailer here:
Today alone, I signed and sent out over a dozen checks checks from my company to pay various invoices, totaling $29,344. Now if we could just get past start-up and begin bringing in some income, that'd be greeeeat. . .

When they're lackluster, there's no…
I hear you. The only thing I've ever had even a slight inclination to plaster permanently on myself is a simple inscription reading 'Mono no aware,' because I've always loved Ozu and that concept, but there's no place on my terrible, flabby body I feel comfortable directing people's gaze towards. Meh.

find a specific Turbo Man figure that Caplan wanted, but they’ll have to
fight Sinbad in order to get it."
Jesus, man, can you change the fucking station? I've had a rough night, and I hate the fucking A's, man.
Nobody's saying that we wouldn't continue to get good movies if/when celluloid disappears but there are certain qualities inherent to film stock that it would be a shame to lose entirely.
