The best place ever was the Lupaia Villa, a bed and breakfast that was also a vineyard in the hills of Tuscany that I stayed at with my girlfriend when we visited Italy.  They made olive oil on the estate, there were ridiculously friendly horses and burros, and you were tucked away in gorgeous, serene rolling hills.

A bit of a bummer to see so few documentaries on the list.  I would have to give serious consideration to When We Were Kings, Hands on a Hard Body, A Brief History of Time, Baraka, Mr. Death and 35 Up (and maybe even My Best Fiend) if I were making a list.
