I've actually done beer trips to Michigan the last two years in a row, and it's always been a great time.  New Holland, Bell's, Arcadia, Dark Horse, Livery, Founders and Shorts.  Really fantastic stuff; Grand Rapids is a great beer town.

I was underwhelmed with Casa Bianca, although the hike from the westside may have something to do with it.  It wasn't bad at all, but I was expecting more given the Jonathan Gold-annointed pizza royalty it's been declared.

All of Southern Tier's Blackwater Series - Choklat, Creme Brulee, Jahva - are great after dinner beers.  I find that few are better than ST at aroma hops and fragrant ingredients; without exception, their beers smell wonderful.
