You are technically correct. The best kind of correct.

You make a persuasive argument. I just listened to Oraculum's Sorcery Of The Damned yesterday. More death-y than black, but…

I don't hear it come up as much as Hot Rats, Apostrophe ('), Just Another Band From LA, or (especially) his higher charting albums, i.e. Sheik Yerbouti or We're Only In It For The Money. One Size Fits All is maybe my favorite under-the-radar Zappa album.

Yes! Lucky Peach is a great mix of non-fiction and fiction food writing, recipes, and all sorts of groovy stuff. I highly recommend it. The winter '15/'16 issue came with a "free prize inside" (a poster of cereal mascots in a Hindu ikon style).

You win for Flatt & Scruggs.

Gazillion Ear is straight dope. Dilla-Dilla, Mix-Mix

We have two shuffle threads now?!

Oh my god, why didn't anyone tell me Being And Time was awful? (Actually, I already knew that having read it before. But alas, here I am. I need to re-read sections of it for a paper, I'm writing, and it hurts my fucking brain.)
I also culled the letters of Kafka for the famous "axe for the frozen sea within us" quote,

Ganglians – Good Times

My issues of The Economist started coming to my new address! Huzzah! Book-wise, I'm taking on the new Krasznahorkai novel.
