This is why I always wear a Big Bird costume when I go prowling the orphanages for a little "midnight snack," if you know what I mean. I don't even have to yell, "Do you know who I am!?" at the police. They're always quite charmed and ask for autographs.

He'll win a Pulitzer while his honest, but not-office-politics-minded co-worker shakes his head at the depths that journalism has fallen to.

I think it's time for David Simon to write an intricate, labyrinthine epic of people who are negatively affected because their names are similar to The Wire's characters. What I mean is that this real life Omar Little must feel terribly disenfranchised and powerless because every news story is not really about him,

Well, I'm pleased to report that this is one movie that actually lives up to the critical praise. I don't really know Iranian film that well (the only one I've seen is Certified Copy), but I've heard that they are fond of long takes and minimal plots, so I went into A Separation expecting to feel some emotional

I could definitely get behind sometime like this. The comments section on movies always gets filled with jokes, but when people have had time to actually see the movie, the place turns into a ghost town.
Surely there must be a proper balance between dick jokes and intelligent movie discussion. I guess we'll just have

@avclub-c9be0674ead9b2448c14d31c64f2b01b:disqus  Hey, it's fine if you don't like it. I was just saying that a one-episode sample may not be enough, especially when the episode is kind of odd. (I might add that this is also not necessarily one of my favorite episodes.)

Grrr, BRRING OUT THE GIRLSSSSS Mmmmm….

Don DiMello is my favorite character ever. Andy Daly is a genius on podcasts, and I hope he gets whatever he wants out of his career.

Is this the only episode you've listened to? "Farts and Procreation" may not be a good starting point because (as the article says) it's very, very meta.

I've heard so many good things about this film, I hope it doesn't disappoint. Luckily it seems to come out in my area on Friday, so I guess I'll find out soon!

So you pussied out then? Think about all the "Like"s you would have gotten if you went through with it and told us about it. Instead you gotta be Mr. Goody-two-shoes with a conscience and shit. It would have been a great post that I could have enjoyed for at least five minutes, and I would have "Liked" accordingly.

I went into this movie having never read the books and never seen the previous adaptation, but I ended up enjoying it. It starts off verrrrry slowly and I had trouble keeping track of the different people, but once Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara meet, it's all great. I was even kind of touched near the end, in the scene

"Happy holidays"? So this website is just another victim of political correctness, you anti-Christ motherfuckers.

You might even say that he Newtered you.

Yes, that is the one! It's just strange to think these books that I've read multiple times (and seen the animated adaptations) have been almost completely blocked from my memory. I still have no idea what happens in The Seven Crystal Balls, though I seem to remember that the animated version kind of scared me.

My parents always used to buy me Tintin books. I had almost all of them, as far as I know, and they're probably a big factor in how I learned to read. I also watched the animated series.

I often dress as a powerful clown. I then go around touching people while muttering, "Dada. Dada."

This trailer looks much better than I expected, but when was the last time Ridley Scott made a good movie? Matchstick Men, I guess, but for most of the past decade, he's seemed like a basic work-for-hire director.

God this F makes me happy. I know I have no right to hate a film I've never seen, but I just can't help it. I also love contrasting some of the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes with Scott's.

I hope Mel's dad Hutton Gibson shows up to help out his son. His views that the Holocaust is "mostly fictional" ought to bring down the house.
