I don't think Carol is shrill and annoying. That's how she was presented at first, but her character has grown significantly. Not even grown, always was, but we initially saw her as phil saw her.

I agree. Everything about that show, down to the title feels like it was created by "Notes from Corporate."
Mel Rodriguez?
The re-vamped "Pleep Ploop" was far and away my highlight for this episode.
"Dad, I can't see your stupid fake sign language when we're on the phone!"
I hear what you're saying, but really - that's basically exactly what he said to them, and Betsy stomped her feet and Lady MacBethed all over it.
That's so funny, I honestly thought it was the best episode of the season.
I LOVED the shot of the stack of casefiles in the foreground and Jimmy and Chuck slightly out of focus behind it. Then just Chuck. Then he walks up to the files….
You can disagree with this if you want, but Jimmy considered it to be "the right thing" in this regard: The Kettlemans were guilty as sin, it was an open-and-shut case, and Lumberg Kettleman was staring 30 years in the face. The Deal, even though they didn't want it, was the best for everyone involved and their…
I sure hope so watching phil acting like that made me uncomfortable, and not in the cringe comedy way I think it was intended.
What if it's Greg?
That's what I don't get…last week I thought it became apparent that Raisin Balls were disgusting, even to Carol. Did she change up the recipe, what would make her think that adding raisin balls to anything would be a good idea for her new guest?
From reading this thread, it appears that there are some people who disagree with me on this one…but for me, I don't know that I've seen January Jones in any role other than "girl."
Also, Bar Trivia is a good date night. My wife an I have arranged babysitting multiple times to participate in Bar Trivia. We would do it more often, but it's on Thursdays and we have jobs and kids and stuff…
How many onions were on your belt?
I forgot I'm allergic to peanuts!
Oh my god, I didn't get the "Gene Jacket" joke until I just read it here…I'm so disappointed in myself.
"The door is a metaphor for our marriage, Phil."
No one has electricity.
People watching people play video games on YouTube was how I really found out that I had crossed over into "Old Man" territory. Until that SouthPark episode, I didn't even know that was a thing.
