I'm a traditionalist, so I like a simple, bold, expressive face, especially if it brings out the natural personality of the pumpkin.

So I guess it doesn't really matter if Trump wins, because the election results are just a suggestion. All this time I thought they were binding!

Last time I made the mistake of following along w/ Frank Luntz's focus group on twitter, where they said Trump won by a fair amount. Then the CNN poll came out and Hillary won.

Caught up on Atlanta and The Good Place. I really like both shows a lot. Atlanta is definitely the better show, but The Good Place feels like it was tailor-made to my preferences - a colorful, cheerful, hi-concept sitcom that isn't afraid of metaphysical weirdness and wears its philosophical interests on its

It's one thing to shill out your 15 minutes of fame for some quick cash - that's basically an American right. But promoting Uber is just plain gross. Might as well shill for a bail bonds store!

Gotta save that RNC money for more lawyers!

I also want to say the moment in the debate where Trump threatened to throw Hillary in jail and the crowd cheered was one of the scariest things I've seen.

It's even more terrifying to me that the party isn't even getting mauled /that/ much. They're most likely losing /some/ voters, but not nearly what you'd expect given their candidate admitted on tape to repeated sexual assault. There's still a huge swatch of the country (incl. women) that are fine w/ that, some even

The schadenfreude is hard to resist, but this whole situation is a pretty gross thing to be happy about. I'm happy he's most likely going to lose, but it doesn't change the fact he was already horrible for a million reasons that didn't bother people, and plenty of people will still support him even after this. And

Sure thing! If I see any good deals I'll post them here.

SSD! It's basically the only other option. 7,200rpm and 10k are the other speeds, but you don't normally see them in laptops. (Unless you put them in yourself)

Most modern CPU's have built-in graphics that are meant to handle HD video, so you probably wouldn't need a separate graphics card for that. You mostly need a graphics card if you're going to be playing modern 3D games, and even then you have to spend a lot to play recent games at full settings.

Gaming laptop usually means it has a separate video card, as opposed to one integrated into the CPU. Good for games, or 3d modelling should you need to do that, but also means it'll be a bit heavier, louder, and power-hungry.

I don't think they really mean anything, other than just being a confusing name for the different types of cpu Intel makes. But i3 < i5 < i7. For example, if you search on Amazon, there's a filter for "computer processor type" where you can pick i5.

I've heard Lenovo is pretty good as well.

The Witness is my favorite game of the year so far. I can't wait till I forget all the solutions and can play it through again!

So there's still /two/ more seasons left, right?

Interesting, the Slate poll is down because "it's currently straining from traffic volume"

That's silly. As far as I know, online polls aren't known for being terribly accurate. And the type of person who comments or takes online polls is more likely to be white and male, and thus a Trump voter anyway. Or a Russian spam farm employee… (Jeez this election makes everyone sound like a paranoid
