I agree. I thought this new take on Barry was actually really funny. Maybe they’d gone as far as they could with Barry’s psychotic hatred of Archer? They did make a good double act.

How much sugar is in the subway bread? While we’re on the subject, I’d like to point out that King’s Hawaiian bread has a lot of sugar. One slice contains 2.5 tsp of sugar.

I imagine it was a "next big thing" when Fifty Shades of Grey was at its height, and contracts were already signed by the time producers realized that it wasn't the start of a trend.

I think it because a sausage roll, and then Gregg’s will call it shit.

So looking at the Independent link it seems the tax exemption limits sugar to 2% of the weight of the flour. That would mean that at 5 times the limit there is over a tablespoon of sugar per cup of flour. That’s more sugar than I put into pancakes. I almost want to go to subway and try a piece of just the bread but

Archer doesn’t have to make me laugh out loud to enjoy it. And I think expecting the kind of “I can’t believe a show can get away with this” feeling we had in the earlier seasons is obviously not going to be replicable.

Barry’s been in every season, hasn’t he?

That’s fascinating! I always thought that was purely marketing for the consumers.

Ha! Thank you for the catch. A few words got deleted; I’m adding them in for clarification now.

Tax classifications are funny. For import taxes, pajamas and slippers are taxed less than regular clothing and shoes. When I worked corporate retail, and the “loungewear” trend began to take hold we had to be VERY careful with the copy in advertising — also why you see a lot of ugg-like shoes described as “slippers

Anyone figuring that Archer is accumulating recruits for his own, new team? Hands and Barry have, so far, been surprisingly sympathetic to Archer’s post-coma issues. And both have, one way or another, begun to drive a wedge between Sterling and the ISIS gang. (Perhaps the new valet will play the third person in that

Of all the things at Subway that shouldn't be considered food, their bread was way down my list.  Like behind the meat and cheese.

The Guardian points out that Subway bread not only exceeds the amount of permissible sugar in staple foods, but contains five times as much sugar as Ireland’s Value-Added Tax Act of 1972.

So a hot dog in a Subway bun is a weiner cake not a sandwich?

I liked the episode even though about 3/4 of the way through I realized I hadn’t laughed much. It’s just good to hang with these characters. I liked all the ‘little Cheryl’ bits with the darts.

Archer continually giving Cyril candy bars was my favorite part of the show, a nice callback to his sex addiction coping mechanism and I assume part of Archer’s dickish plan to bring Cyril back to earth. But yeah I thought this was the most laugh-free show of this season.

Yeah, I haven’t disagreed with a review here this much in a long time, but I honestly laughed pretty much continuously throughout this one (special shout out to Cheryl’s evil childhood and Cyril’s sucky knots), felt the action was really good (and, again, funny, with the group being simultaneously badass and

WTF is “AMC+”??  Is this another fucking streaming service I’m being asked to pay for?

Laughed big at Cheryl’s family employees “mysteriously going crazy”. I need more Young Cheryl flashbacks

It’s funny, but this was my favorite episode this season. I thought it was by far the funniest, with each plot working really well. I’ve always been a sucker for Barry, especially in the ISIS episodes, and the subversion of the past episodes was great.
