I think you would go with different shutters. Down in the Myrtle Beach area, the Bahama shutter is a popular style, even on commercial properties. That would be better for the double/triple window set up.

I think that the critical aspect of requiring that it be a sundae is that you have to sit down and eat it with a spoon out of a dish. This is what makes it dinner-worthy, as opposed to walking around holding the ice cream with your hand.

I have a very fond memory of being at a restaurant on a vacation trip as a child, announcing that I wanted the hot fudge brownie sundae for dinner, and having my parents say “okay”, to my surprise and delight. It was at a Red Robin in the SeaTac area, about 35 years ago, if I remember correctly.
