Campbell’s soup - worthy of fine art!

I first picked up Bell’s Seasoning because of the logo. Then I discovered it was unreal with potatoes and/or poultry. Just lookit this!

Classic appeal to authority. And you can simultaneously be a condescending piece of shit AND profess your humility.
I didn’t say you were all immoral heathens who deserve to catch a deadly disease and die miserably, it’s the Almighty God speaking through me. I’m just a humble servant of The Lord.”

Is Kinja’s shittiness at least partly intentional, to get us to refresh the page four times in order for the comments to come up?

Why are the most terrible human beings always the ones who feel the need to invoke God and Jesus into everything?

There’s something comforting about being able to remember Heath Ledger so fondly. He was (or seemed to be) just genuinely the nicest guy ever. I remember his death really hit home for me for some reason. At the time he was mostly the A Knight’s Tale guy, but... he was just the coolest in it. And then I saw The Dark

Between being a culture war battle and a punchline, a lot of people forget Brokeback Mountain is a great film.

Like my friend Jeff once said, be sorry before you do it. Then don’t do it.

I’m sure the post-mortem mystique has something to do with it, but there was something really special about this guy.

Sorry you’re too bored to be funny.

I’m skeptical of the idea of Quibi in general, but I checked out the first episode of Sam Raimi’s “50 States of Fright” (“The Golden Arm (Michigan)”) and kind of liked it. Some comments:

The Dark Knight Rises (2012) was partially based on that arc as were elements of s4 & s5 of Gotham. There’s also been a fullcast audioplay & a novelization of that arc if accounting for non-tv mediums.

so why wouldn’t she take over part of Gotham to house all sorts of plants so they won’t die from Mr. Freeze making his own terroritory?

It’s kind of a problem when most the characters in your show, protagonists and antagonists, are various degrees of unsympathetic evil assholes (including and especially Harley).

Harley Quinn was the best new show last year. It was better than expected. Can’t wait for this.

“The A.V. Club won’t be recapping each episode, but we’ll drop in on the season finale.”

At.least 50% of.the shows that AVClub covers should be dropped before this show. Not only is it good, it has better ratings than some of the dreck in said 50%.

well this show is a prime example of a show sacrificing logic for plot. Its so much fun i dont care, but it is. People haggling about logic and consistancy from this are watching the wrong show.

For example, why the hell would one root for Harley as she’s just as monstrous as the rest of them?

After binging the first season and now watching the season opener, while I generally enjoy the show and there was some utterly hilarious moments, its take on Harley is so all over the place that it often does really cause a disconnect for me. And I don’t mean the character, but rather the show wants her to be viewed.
