Agreed. Jes Macallan does a wonderful job with Ava. There’s also a toned down Amy Santiago vibe that’s incredibly fun.

I think the cane was Churchill related (bulldog + the voice + John telling the story of the time he met Churchill's ghost), but I don't remember anything from the comics. It might be a Legends special.

I totally forgot that Ray was engaged to Kendra (I was trying to think if he had ever gotten engaged to Felicity)

Can I nerd out about one cool editing moment? There’s an awesome audio cut they do in the scene when Nate is talking about B and Charlie “smashing.” He mimes revving a motorcycle and, before they cut to the next scene, a scene with motorcycles, they loop in the audio of the motorcycles revving to match his hand

Other great movie reference, as Genghis Khan entered in slow-mo, a white dove flew across the frame behind him, like in every John Woo Hong Kong movie and probably the other ones too

The reason that I want new Zari to stay is because it feels like bringing back old Zari is not for the benefit of Zari, but rather for the benefit of Nate.

I loved all the references to the Hong Kong movies, John Woo (that dove killed me) and Matrix (Behrad can stop the bullets). It was beautiful - the two gun shooting, Mexican standoff, the scooter gang. But the best part was the Star Trek scream. This episode had everything.

I really want Zari Prime back, not just because I love her (new Zari is great too), but so she will appreciate how amazing it is that she restored her baby brother to the timeline, and not only is he alive, he is a superhero. She did that for him!

Hm, well in that case you would think Nate in particular would be more impressed

Prognosticator detect encores before they change the timeline, the time seismograph detects changes in the timeline.

Is it wrong that I almost want this Zari to stay? I think Tala Ashe and the show’s writing are doing such a great job with the character.

For a clone from the future, Ava is surprisingly relatable to me too. She just wants to do a good job, for people to treat her like she is normal and part of the team, and she is very in love with Caity Lotz

It could be that encores are different than aberrations or anachronisms or it could be that they forgot about that, but set up a great joke that anyone who has ever had to give a big presentation on an idea today in the office can relate to. Yes, that joke hit home for me.

My favorite line was Nate cheering up Behrad by saying that he was a catch, and if there was a female version of him, Nate would be very into her. “A female version of me? Like my sister?” “Yes.”

KHAAAAAAAAN!!!” Classic move, Nate. XD

So Ava (and Gideon) invented a “prognosticator” to detect anomalies in the timeline. Didn’t Nate join the team specifically because he was a “time detective” who could detect anomalies himself, and then later developed a “time seismograph” to also do that? Is this a timeline change, or just bad continuity? I’m

Thank you, show, for remembering that Ray Palmer is more than just a sweet, naive science-y gentleman. I’m gonna miss Routh, his last episode seems to be Episode 7. I saw that Courtney Ford’s gonna guest-star again as Nora on the season finale.

This might be the first time I’ve enjoyed (and with Charlie’s reveal appreciated) the Constantine storyline’s separation from the rest of the Wave Rider. The scene with Ray, Gary and Constantine at the table stands out to me as one of the better executed emotional beats of a TV universe that just eulogized its central

So, do we think they forgot Prince Charles? Because my heart dearly believes that they did and he’s still hanging out with Mick.

- Zari and Ava fell in friendship...HARD.
- Is this product placement?
- Do Charlie and Behrad have a history? (Apparently yes)
- That was a Zarlie moment.
- Charlie is Clotho.
- I feel that the British handover is actually VERY relevant.
- Why did Genghis show up now? The others showed up right after they died.
- Is that
