I thought exactly the same thing! Great minds think alike.

While my brain knows that, my heart still wants to watch Cat look at Cryer’s Lex with her perfect mix of contempt and impatience.

We did that with turkey and chicken leftovers all the time when we were growing up. I still do sometimes, but without the corn.

I’m not fine with the chicken sandwiches because I can’t find small chicken breasts anywhere, not even at the farmer’s market. It’s very annoying to be stuck with huge, mutant chicken breasts because fast food is buying all the small ones.

Whoever goes next week, I’m going to be gutted. I don’t want to lose any of these bakers. George was the last one I was willing to part with. Can we just eliminate eliminations for the rest of the season?

My Sicilian mother wasn’t the volatile one. My Irish father filled that role. My Sicilian grandmother on the other hand, watch out.

I was so worried about Lizzie. But that slideshow reminded me how she nailed her signature and I’m sure that saved her. She’s still the next to go, I think.

I was wondering if Twix have a different name in Britain. The bakers seemed to have no patience with talking around the brand name this time.

I mean, if you get rid of the royals, the castles are still there.

I’ve been editing a little video for the library with whatever bits of time I can manage for weeks now. This morning I realized I have no idea if it’s any good or utter crap. I can only imagine how hard it would be to know after years.

At times, it seems to see her as a sympathetic but ultimately deeply misguided woman who needs a major lesson in boundaries—like Rebecca Bunch in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. But other times, it sees her as an optimistic, upbeat, Paddington-style figure whose innate, quirky goodness changes everyone around her for the better.

I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard at a Pratchett joke as the mission motto Rincewind came up with. I don’t remember the Latin, but when pressed he admitted it translated to, “We who are about to die don’t want to.”

I wonder if Wayne Enterprises being a functioning entity is a Crisis thing. I seem to recall Kate had to scale the wall and Luke was basically security guard/only remaining employee at the start. And Jada must be crazy good to find the Bat-fund, or Bruce and Lucius were slipping hard. Or it could just be that Luke

It was a fun outing. I do wonder if Eddie will have more consequences. He can afford to rent a place that isn’t mob owned now, but he still has to get booze from somewhere. On the other hand, Capone’s a business man. As long as Eddie toes the line in future, he may be find selling him liquor.

Mitch and Otis need to battle it out for who can be the comic relief lapdog for Lex and Nyxly. Or maybe it’s a case of each of them needing their own.

As someone whose favorite trope is Villain Saves the Day, I loved it all!

I assume Cindy inherited a fair amount from her father. Don’t know if her step-mom being also dead means there will be some kind of trust or conservator, though. But she probably knows where the secret stash is hidden.

Jennie’s not going to be there to bribe her with pancakes, either. That will make it a bit harder to keep her on side.

My struggle meals have definitely turned into comfort food. I put cup ramen in my desk for those days when the library is freezing and I just want soup. But that reminded me how much I liked it, so now I have it about once a week.
