I saw Martha Henry as Prospero at the Stratford Festival a few years back. Having a female Prospero definitely gave a different feel to the threat of sexual violence Caliban presents.

I’m thinking a steamer basket, maybe. I’m also wondering if I can make cake in the steamer basket of my rice cooker.
There is one problem I have with that suggestion. The small is in a bag, and because I get butter on it, it will soak through the bottom of the bag, the half dozen napkins I have under it, and the pants on the knee where I rest it. Even knowing I wouldn’t finish it, I got the large last time (no medium at my theater)…
It’s not on Prime in the U.S. or streaming anywhere here. I’m gutted.
Watching tonight!
I have never gotten the appeal of iced coffee. I have drunk iced tea, but not very often. It’s not that I don’t like iced drinks. I prefer the water I drink all day to be ice cold and always know which water cooler at the library gives the coldest water. I prefer my pop ice cold, too, but give me my coffee and tea hot.
I love stuff like that. If you watch the Marples from the decade before, you’ll see a ton, too. I call them crossroads shows, because they’re full of past stars and future stars. Of course, Columbo is the OG of mystery crossroads shows.
Johnny Lee Miller is old enough to play John Major? That’s a head trip.
Karloff’s mummy was a sympathetic character. If he wasn’t trying to force an unwilling woman to accompany him, he might have been the good guy. So having some sympathy for a Universal mummy tracks.
I watched the Hot Rock on Criterion recently and had the same sadness when I recognized him.
My sister had a pet rabbit named Buster (before Tiny Toons) but the rest of the family all called it Stew. And the more she told us not to, the more we wanted to do it, because siblings suck like that.
Oh wow, well, which in universe explanation would you like? There’s the one where Matt Smith got gifted a new set of regenerations for reasons I can’t recall. Then there’s the retcon from the most recent season that The Doctor is a unique species that has infinite regenerations and the Time Lords got their twelve by…
Nope, not the slightest reference in Black Widow.
Nice that you have that option. Lowe’s pulled all their stores out of the Flint area over a year ago. My sister and I had to drive half an hour when her contractor wanted her to go to Lowe’s to pick out her fixtures.
I’m in Michigan. We have no hero pay and all seating restrictions on restaurants have been removed. I doubt it’s that.
I sure as hell wouldn’t buy that one. Did you click the link? It’s square! I don’t want anything square in my bathroom. With my level of klutziness I’m looking forward to saving enough to redo my bathroom with all rounded edges. The scrapes I’ve picked up from my vanity corner are no joke.
Which Barca players? Because if that’s true, a whole lot of them could afford to buy this so no one will every hear their lame attempts at music.
I like Donnie Yen, but sadly he’s truly crap as my favorite character ever, Sun Wukong. I’ve given his Monkey King movie several tries, usually after I’ve liked him in something else, and is just does not work. He feels neither like the Donnie Yen we know nor like the Sun Wukong we know. In this case the whole is much…
Get a VPN, watch the CBC. As a border child, I can’t imagine watching American coverage.
Jack in the Box commercials are one of the few things I miss from my time in Texas.
