A few brief points and I'll try to respond in more depth later (also, sorry for the terseness…I didn't want to leave you hanging but I'm working on something else at the moment)—

oops

If someone does this, could I maybe have a chance to clean it up a bit?  I noticed some rough patches when I was rereading it Thursday night/Friday morning, that I was too tired to catch when I wrote it earlier Thursday night/Friday morning.

Just a stray thought—I hope when the season 3 DVDs are released, they return Contemporary Impressionists and Urban Matrimony to their originally intended positions—CI is one of my least favorite episodes of the season, but in retrospect, it did an alright job of setting the back half of season 3's Abed arc in motion,

I do it too.  But I always wait a week to place the most recent episode.  So, this one isn't placed yet.  I'm guessing it will slot in at #2.

The group did treat Abed this way through most of seasons 1 and 2 (AUC excepted).  And it looks like the season 3 arc is about trying to help Abed—Troy was initially resistant to helping Abed in CI, despite Annie's pleas, but ultimately stepped up and spoke some real truth at Abed at the episode's end.  Tonight also

For those engaging in the conversation down here, I just posted a huge thing about my thoughts on the show's handling of absurdity this season. I do address some of what  @avclub-70f6dcc28ef8fc282b0c969e75d9bdfc:disqus is getting at—long story short: season three allowed the show's absurdity to boil into the

I've been thinking a great deal about the ways Community is using absurdity this season, and how many people are reacting against it.  For a working definition of absurdity, I'm going to be a bit lazy and use the internet. Here's a fine definition: "The quality or state of being ridiculous or wildly unreasonable."

"His behavior suspends my belief that the people around him would put up with him. "
Friendship, man.  Friendship.

good posts radioactive badger—I don't put too much stock in "realism."   What draws me to Community is its absurdity.

You know, my wife and I started re-watching Sherlock this week preparing for season 2, and she's been getting into Big Bang Theory, and we started talking about this odd axis of characters in Abed/Sheldon/Sherlock.

early responses?  i've been following on twitter and the response has been mostly positive..

true.  regardless—working until 10 on Thursdays sucks.  Can't wait to get home and watch.

me too.  but Hulk's comment made me excited—i trust them both.  what should i do?

Honestly, that doesn't say much.  Let's face it—Trek's holodeck episodes—with the exception of "Elementary, Dear Data" and maybe 1 or 2 others—are pretty much the worst.

didn't I post this earlier?  what the hell is happening!!!!

ETD: just saw this being discussed elsewhere in the thread.

I'm starting to feel like this is Abed's season, and the entire season is sort of being seen through Abed's POV…huh.

Don't you mean TSTMAW?

Okay, I'm already revising my thoughts.  Just listened to the album on a pleasant evening walk, and I'm already starting to enjoy it much more. The title track, in particular, is fantastic.
