I think I've said so here before, but I'm still grateful to the record store clerk who made me listen to that song before buying it on a friend's recommendation. (And no, he didn't make me listen to the whole song.)

There isn't that much more to it.  She was a Government & Economics teacher but didn't teach Economics because she didn't like it.  Besides woman-horse love and The Eagles, she also liked the Atlanta Braves.
