For my story, read Alex's entry again. It's the EXACT same story. Man… the 90s, eh?

What, you think I can't tell 2.1 spacing from regular 2.0? F-

These are great, and it's a great label. Love the shout out to Hoover, who also spawned The Crownhate Ruin and June of '44 (among others), two other personal favorites. Loved, loved, loved Hoover.

I approve of this comment, this thread, and this episode.

I approve of this Q and at least one on the As.

Wait… I thought we could like those bands as long as we did so "ironically." If not, I got a Boston record I need to get off my ipod like pronto.

I enjoy when the AV Club commenters cross over into other websites which I happen to enjoy, such as KSK.

The live version of "To Bring you my Love". Just remembering it gives me chills.

Fucking fuck.

We are from the same general area then… they were local for me too. Saw them for the first time opening for Fugazi (with Wayward Girl… it was at Bomb Factory). Their live shows were just mind-blowing. Will always be a top-3 band for me.

I will always contend that Bedhead was shoegaze (and can i reiterate here that Bedhead was spectacular?). I think we all considered Slint post-rock, but it seems weird in retrospect.

Always thought of Hoover as post-hardcore (and where does that fit in with proto-emo? I've heard that thrown around for Hoover/Crown Hate Ruin/June of '44 as well). At any rate, I think Hoover should be mentioned in any article, whether it's appropriate or not. That Dischord EP (Self-Titled) that opens with "TNT" and

Man, I saw Stars of the Lid open for Bedhead once and they were so loud I felt physically nauseous. It was AWESOME. Also… despite not fitting the genre at all, everyone listen to Bedhead.

My favorite is certainly every Liars record after their debut. They change sounds like I change pants (which is to say, every couple of years).

So very sorry about Rangers…

English side ruined. Must.use.French.instructions.

Trig rap thug fa LIFE!

"Keep You" was such a great track, so I have high hopes for the full-length. Sounds like I may or may not be disappointed.

This is everything that's wrong with this feature… "This sucks. Makes me want to puke. These guys are terrible." Blah, blah, fucking blah.

First time I saw that idea (not the term) was in News Radio when Jimmy had Matthew pick out all the gifts he would buy his rich and famous friends (I only remember specifically Matthew saying he should buy David Geffen CDs).
