I actually think he's very talented, but I think on occasion he makes choices that are very "look at me acting!!" that distract from actually letting us get sucked into the characters he plays.  The way I see it, the key is to have a director who knows how to reel him in and doesn't indulge every choice he makes.

Ooh, Maribel Verdú and Daniel Giménez Cacho.  Can't wait to see this, regardless of the silent movie gimmick.

Oh, I didn't realize the UK had FX, too.  Great to know the show is on over there.  When I first started watching it it really reminded me of 15 Storeys High, they're of the same absurd, darkly comic spirit.  Still, can't believe that he'd play a large arena over there!  Kinda lovely, really.

Oh, I see.  So it was more like one entire show with three or four breaks.  That makes sense.  It just sounded like the show was over but he kept being called back to the stage.

Well, you're past the worst parts of Lost.  So enjoy the rest of it!  (And don't think too hard about it, hehe.)  That "How Jack got his tattoos" is the worst.  It is the one Lost episode I refuse to watch ever again.  But my favorite seasons were 4 and 5, so I hope you like them too!

Gotta admit, I love the idea of Louis CK being really popular in the UK.  Do they show Louie over there?

Boo, that sucks!

Look at you, going out on so many nights.  It's like you've got a life, or something.

I hear you, it drives me crazy when actors are too afraid to say anything interesting so they just rely on spitting out inanitites.

WTF?  How did the encore situation work?  Were people really clamoring that much?   Was it written into the act?  I find that so weird.

I'm sure the remake will be terrible!

Aw, please take care!

My god.  If only PBS had picked up The Hour…  Not a perfect show, but then, neither is Downton Abbey.  That cast was so gold, I'm so sad it got cancelled.

Hope you had a nice holiday away from us, LOL.

Newton Gimmick, Esq.  Nice ring to it, right?

God, I can't imagine Louis CK playing such a massive venue…

I've never really paid attention to BBC Radio adaptations.  Clearly I've been missing out, yes?

I'm surprised to hear that.  To me, the last ep of season 2 was so great and encapsulated everything it had to say about that group of friends, I just couldn't imagine how it could go on from there.  Should I have kept going with the show and the movie?

I didn't even realize there was a sequel to DLL.  Gonna have to track that down!

ZOMG, you need to watch all the non-Batman stuff!  I fucking love Memento, and The Prestige is really fun, and Following was really impressive (and very short).
