Gonna pick the last one, if only because it reminds me of a Frankie Boyle joke I actually like!

The Red Shoes? Would have expected a writeup on The Brothers Grimm to go with Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. C'mon D'Angelo, it's like you're trying to make the AVC all classy and shit!
I don't know that I'll have a chance to post too often in this corner anymore so here's what I watched during the entire week:
No, I didn't read it! I didn't think I was missing anything important… did I?
You make it sound as if "soap opera" is the dregs of televisual genres. Clearly the issue is poor writing. Maybe Julian Fellowes just needs to be Darabonted?
Ohhh my god, I can't believe I missed this. All the whining I did about it on the Misfits pages paid off! Thank you so much for the recap, I hope there's more to come.
Aw congrats to your sister! And to your forthcoming uncle status.
Wait, why did you think they were in their late 20s, specifically?
"…All the President's Men if there was a chance that Woodward and Bernstein would get blown up every time they left the Post's office."
Break a leg!
It rambled and there were some insider joke bits for her friends and family, but it was very sincere and I adore her, sooooo yeah, the speech was great! I do think she may have been under the influence of something. But they kept cutting to reaction shots of her kids and I found them very endearing because they…
I loved Hearts of Darkness. Apocalypse Now? Meh.
Ah, Nardwuar. So annoying, yet so brilliant. His preparation is impeccable and he gets so many interesting answers from the people he irritates. He's a Canadian treasure.
The joke was great! The audience was lame that day.
@avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus No, I was sincere, I really appreciate you took the time to respond! I've never read any Elmore Leonard, so I was unfamiliar with whether the N-words were coming from him or if they were mostly coming from QT who, let's face it, know his way around the N-word way…
I hear you, that why every time a celebrity comes out, it's worth celebrating. I just don't like that some people are so pushy about making people come out of the closet. It should be on the individual's terms. They should be allowed the dignity to do it when they're ready, right?
Oh good, I felt very alone after watching Breathless because my feelings about it were complimacated and I wasn't head-over-heels like most people seem to be over the movie. Glad to encounter others who feel that way too.
I assume you'd prefer to see it in the theater, but How to Survive a Plague is now on Netflix, if you have it…
Holy shit, yes to Sarah Silverman's character, so unbearable. Especially because I'm very sweet on Mike White, so I hated someone chewing him out like that! I didn't know much about her before I saw her in the movie, and it tainted the way I saw her for the longest time.
Richard E. Grant is mesmerizing to watch in general, but especially in that movie. Oh man. Best person to come out of Swaziland or what?
