The drummer of Staind was the "celebrity" in my group for a golf tournament back in 2005. He was actually a nice guy and a pretty good golfer. Still a shitty band.

I know there's a vault of unreleased beats like the one he did for Dilated Peoples (my favorite thing he's ever done). I can't wait until they see the light of day.

Absolutely. When he first announced that it was 10 tracks (when it was the "greatest album of all time"), I had two thoughts:

Twelve Levels of Pompousness

And his work in Dazed and Confused.

Happy Harry Hard-on!

That Phil Anselmo/Dave Grohl/Dave Lombardo tribute that was going around a couple of weeks ago would have been more than suitable.

Jim Tomsula is Rich Kotite 2.0

I'm more impressed that they can find footage of Jim Caldwell doing anything besides blinking.

I also thought it was odd that Marhsall wasn't more prominently featured.

That makes a baker's dozen.

Cusack was great in BOD, but now he serves as a study in mumpishness.

Between Tortoise and this, it's like my 1994 college radio playlist has come alive again. I'll have to put this on the list of weekend activities.

It's not so much that I'm clamoring for a new Tortoise album, but I am nostalgic for that 90s Touch-n-Go/Thrill Jockey/Drag City era. So, I'll buy this anyway,

Belly's bassist on "King", Gail Greenwood, very underrated.

I have them in a bin, but I went in reverse. I bought XLs even though I was probably a large, but then I lost 35 pounds and am now a medium, and those shirts are gigantic on me. Shame, because I liked a lot of them and would still wear them.

I missed that Lush story. But I definitely had a "girls and guitars" phase for about, um, years.

I'm in. Where's the Kickstarter link?

I have a very particular set of skills…to search and destroy.

My college years were spent alternating crushes on the Hatfield/Donnelly/Hanley/Phair section of rock.
