She did an in-store performance in the store I managed in the early 2000s. I think she weighs 33 ounces. She was very quiet, and very nice, though.

Ski Patrol was good - if that was the one with the "crazy" skier with the two masks on his head.

I did like that, despite only being there two days, Mac and Dee ended up with a gloriously 80s wardrobe for the party at Babe Manor.

Working the scream in to each episode will be fun to look for. Also, how they make the rookie puke each time.

Agreed. I thought I'd like that angle, but it was disconcerting. Let's bring back the dolphin puppet, too.

No, maybe not, but I still think it was a solid debut. Of course, I tired of the "I used to be broke and now I'm not" theme of his lyrics pretty quickly.

I watched them all, and have even watched a few repeats - I love it.
Jere Burns getting hit with the dodgeball (and his reaction afterwards) may be the funniest thing I see this year.

Not to be that guy and name drop,

He's maddeningly inconsistent over the span of his career - and it's made worse by how solid College Dropout was. Focused Kanye can hold his own (like this track), and Distracted Kanye is completely forgettable, and then the public persona comes in makes him seem like he thinks he's a lot better than he really is.

This is very admittedly get-off-my-lawn-esque, but I really don't know how anyone over the age of 23 likes Drake. I feel like there's a ceiling to his appeal. Whereas Kendrick has more lasting of an effect - and I don't even think TPAB has as much replay value as GKMC, even though it is a phenomenal effort.

Don't forget the possible greatest on-screen use of the word "imbibe" ever.

Can't believe this wasn't a Stray Observation. Best line of the night.

Fuck everything about this. Hans Gruber is one of the greatest movie villains of all time, and that is beyond debate.

Upvoted for proper citation.

I don't think he got nearly enough credit for "Swass" being used, but if he's getting paid for it, that's good enough.

"Give me something I can print!"

I'm so happy someone brought this. Was the original story 100 words long? That would have been great.

Seriously. The film probably lost more than that just in people who had reserved seats in two theaters at overlapping times, and then canceled one too close to showtime for someone else to buy them.

I follow him on Twitter (which is the only way I knew the premier was last night), and he's one of those guys who clearly loves what he does for a living in such a way that you have to root for him.
