A lot of performers don't actually watch the movie/show they're in when they go to a premiere. They walk the red carpet and do interviews because it's required PR, but plenty of them head straight on to the after party.

Only if the same actors play the characters and they just pretend to be teenagers. Like most teen dramas.

But Yolo picked the music, and he's from Detroit.

Thanks for explaining - my DVR did the same thing @avclub-adad33d3da210f8c6efe515ace3e7089:disqus 's did.

You explain it with things that can happen. People see things that aren't really there all the time. That doesn't mean ghosts exist; it means your brain is acting up on you. Or you saw a shadow or a reflection that your brain interpreted as something else. Or someone was in the house who wasn't supposed to be there.

No creepy space baby from the end of 2001? Seems like a big oversight, although it creeps me the hell out, so I'm kinda glad I didn't have to see it.

I saw Springsteen on the same tour Noel mentions, about a month later in Houston. He played "Mary, Queen of Arkansas" at that show too, and some of the crowd went nuts but a lot of them seemed like they'd never heard it before and acted bored. Houston concert audiences are awful.

SPOILER: Ghosts aren't real.

You need to be with someone who has more compatible TV priorities.

Just added this to my Netflix Streaming queue. I watched it a few years ago and loved it, so I look forward to watching it again. I spent enough time around theater departments and people that it feels like home, if home got real Canadian all of a sudden.

I'm almost done with it. It's a really good read, and I've learned things I didn't know even though I already read a sick amount about TV.

IMDb says Whedon is an uncredited director, but I'm not sure where that info came from. The onscreen credit, which I've never heard anyone dispute, is Smith. TV showrunners tend to have far more creative control over a show than a director though. It's not like directing a film.

Charles Martin Smith directed the pilot. Holy crap, I know that off the top of my head.

I also bought that album.

Rutger Hauer was at peak hotness at 1985.

It wasn't inappropriate in 1985 - all the cool kids were being scored by members of the Alan Parsons Project back then.
