Chubby Chasee: I am sorry you had to work with my sister-in-law.

Yeah, I lived in West Texas as a kid. We had whites, hispanics, and pretty much nobody else. Black people were something you saw on TV, or if you went to That One Part of Town by accident. It's accurate to depict some places (especially during certain eras) as less-than-diverse, and it doesn't always warrant comment.

This show made me cry a lot. Most unexpectedly during the scene when the gym coach has an honest sex talk with Sam. Thank goodness for those adults who know when to step in and give a kid guidance and information. I wish I'd had one of those.

Oh yeah, it's exactly as bad as intended. Also, I know how to spell Segel, I swear. I do not know what happened there.

That definitely was one of Ken's most magnanimous moments.

Yes, and he also sold the Parisian night suits. Or as Dr. Venture would call it, a speedsuit.

He was on Lost too. But most importantly, he played Tony Miller on Beverly Hills, 90210 throughout the high school years. He took Brenda to prom! I would love to see a Random Roles with him. Hell, I volunteer to conduct the interview. Put me on the payroll, AV Club!

The film adaptation of Touch sucked though. Skip!

I agree, Criminal is great. I've pared by comics-reading way back, but Brubaker still has his own key to my brain-house.

I started with Jim Thompson too, and really enjoyed it. I loved how things would just get weirder and weirder as the characters' lives dissolved into chaos and unreality. Maybe it is a different flavor from Hammett, but I really got a kick out of the "Wait, WHAT?" stuff that would happen.

I'm 32 and yesterday I bought anti-aging facewash and eye cream for the first time. More of my hair is coming in white every day, but it still grows so quickly that dyeing it is an exercise in futility. I KNEW I should have made a bunch of movies when I was younger and hotter so my downward spiral could represent

We're planning on seeing this in its natural habitat
We're seeing it at a drive-in! I saw the first one, which was B-movie fun, and skipped the next two. Boy, I hope I can figure out the plot of this one.

I love Vanya on 42nd Street. Haven't seen it in years. Need to put it in my Netflix queue.

I do not recall Winona being in Zoolander. I do recall her being way too damn old to be a MPDG. She's just a crazy middle-aged lady now!

Yes, I also was glad that 49B was neither a Fulcrum agent nor dead by episode's end. I'd like to see her come back and see Casey whenever the CIA gets its superspy breeding program going. Or for any other reason.

I'll be surprised if Orion is actually dead and not Chuck's father.

I love the TWoP recaps of this show. I'm going to miss them almost as much as I'll miss the show.

Aw, mbs, I LOVE "Night Moves."

B5 is worth the time, even the parts that aren't so hot — like a good chunk of the first season.

I also cried during the scene where the blind man plays violin. I wasn't a little kid either. The Frankenstein movies are so great.
