The cheesy-ass material she's been given to work with might have something to do with it,  The girl did win an Oscar a the age of 11 after all.  I don't see a second one in her future, unless she finds something meatier than Sookie Stackhouse.

Oh please, don't drag out that faux pious slut.   And I also don't get how the gay former preacher now vamp has no clue who turned him.  I thought that in the vamp world the progeny stayed with their maker until released by the vamp.  How could he not know who made him?  I think he must be lying about that for some

I was also beyond confused about this.  I thought the Northmen were outside ready to take back Winterfell, allow all Iron Born to leave with the exception of Greyjoy, so how in the hell did it get burned to the ground?  This made no sense at all.  I guess we now must wait another 9 long months to find out why

No way.  She is younger than Sansa who is was aged 13 herself when this show began so Arya coundn't possibly be older than 11 or 12.  I think they are playing up the Stark/Baratheon bond here, as the kid is Robert's natural son.  No way they are going for romance and she is only hanging out with him as a kid sister

Has everyone read the synopsis for next week yet?

I think I covered this last week.  This show, and maybe the books but since I've not read them I don't know, has drawn a parallel between the Targaryen "Mad King" and Joffrey as both are products of incest.  Cersei defended her decision to have children by her brother rather than by her husband as something the

Indeed, I was thinking that Cersei's world had shrunk considerably
since her insane little incestuous spawn became king.    I don't think even she had any clue what she
had produced until he killed Ned Stark.  It seems her only pleasure is to further gently torture Sansa.
Now, she is no longer the actual queen, but

I guess I missed that one.  Have to catch it in the reruns.

Great episode and what I've been looking for all along in this show.  So much talent that hasn't has the material to live up to their potential it seemed doomed after 2 seasons, but if they can produce quality work like this consistently from here on I see it coming back for a third or even fourth season.

The guy is a great actor, gotta give him that.  It seems they are trying to give him more time onscreen but it's difficult to give everyone their time because there are so many storylines.  Sometimes I wish at least a few episodes were two hours long.  Ok, all of them.  And it still wouldn't be enough time.  That

Pretty cool opening.  I had no clue what was happening until I saw Robb in the lightning.  And I don't care we don't see the actual battle scenes as long as Robb is winning.  I think it will be bad if we DO see a battle scene because that could be a loss for Robb, Jamie Lannister freed and really bad news for the

If they want us to not just dislike Joffrey but outright hate him and wish him a long and painful death, wish granted.  Hate him, he's a demented little shit who needs his own spike for his wormy little brain to get stuck on.  I can't recall the last time I truly loathed a character on a t.v. show or a movie.  Really

I heard it but you have to listen pretty hard.

I don't know how he nor anyone else will fight dragon fire, should Daenerys's dragons become full grown and under her control, though I have a feeling we won't see much dragon action until season three.  I am frustrated by the slow way that plot is unfolding.  They are still plodding through the wasteland like

Yes, I caught that as well. Ned realized it but then instead of getting the hell out of Dodge as he planned, he allowed Baelish to set him up for Jaime Lannister.  Anyone who doesn't think it was a set-up isn't paying attention.  I hope Cat Stark gets her revenge for that.

I disagree, they do care otherwise they wouldn't have gone at him so hard, telling him to choose, calling the Starks his "other family" in a derogatory way.  Plus, he swore an oath to Robb as king of the North.  That's bigger than blood and turning on Robb makes him guilty of treason, simple as that.  He's never been
