I haven't seen much of Charlie Rose, but Terry Gross is awful. I have no idea what anyone sees in her.

What I hated the most about the prequels was that the special effects were fucking awful. I'm still a huge fan of The Young Ones and loved Alexei on it, but think he was probably featured as much as he should have been. He worked well as a nice change of pace that lasted for only a few minutes.

Mine are pretty standard, except I toast the bread first so that the peanut butter gets melty, which is a marked improvement. I know, real advanced culinary skills right here.

That's probably my second favorite part about how awful the trailer was (after the jellyfish hero): this guy uses his super duper ring to make a machine gun and fire bullets at the bad guys. Wow. Couldn't have done that one without you, sir.

As far as I've been able to tell, the core of Mamet's "conversion" is his belief that the left has abandoned Israel. He kind of just took it from there and ran with it.

Yeah, I kind of feel like an idiot for owning a laserdisc player still, but having the original trilogy in high quality without the new CGI nonsense helps.

Oh, I didn't mean to make it sound like I was criticizing AVClub. They cover this stuff so it's their job to report it. But it seems like once a week some superhero is undergoing a Drastic New Change or Reimagining or Dying For Three Months so someone can boost their sales numbers temporarily. It's stupid.

I love the original so I wasn't big on hearing they were remaking it, but my biggest fear was it would be too much of a comedy. Instead, it looks like they went too far in the other direction. Nothing in this trailer looks fun, or, uh, entertaining.
