Its just "Sunn" you don't pronounce the o))) (its just a logo). Or, if you want, you can just say "Sunn," and then make a long distorted droning noise, kick up some fog, and fans will understand.

Children, if you are raising them right, are dense as hell when it comes to sex and innuendo. A kid that hasnt had their presexual bubble burst in some way would not read that comment as other than a bad guy threatening something vaguely nasty. A normal kid won't think "break" means "rape," they'll think it suggests

Terry Jones would make the best Welles, and John Cleese would be bitter that he wasnt considered first choice.

If you are irked by moustache-twilrling villains and hack fantasy tropes, I'm not sure what you want out of Who. For me, most of the times that NuWho has strained for seriousness and sophistication, it has sort of failed.  There seems to be a struggle to balance its tones and strike a chord with the kiddies, the mass

In OldWho, dashing three aside, he wasnt never really romantic because it was a damn kids show. It actually made him more alien. He had all these hot chicks around him and he never gave them a naughty glance. People braced against NuWho going that route pretty justifiably. RTD introduced this idea that his companions

What bothered me about The Doc letting Solomon die was that in the episodes mad rush of a finale, they didn't touch on it at all. They just go straight to the sweet moment closing montage. It was too big of a deal to not have some kind nod to how he feels about taking a life (unless we are supposed to think he just

I like Saward's first two Who's, but there is no doubt that he was part of some of Who's messier plotting run. He was a key script editor during a time when a lot of those scripts came across like half-assed first drafts.

Yeah, Smith really nailed the goofier aspects, really shined in the first half of the episode. When given that kind of range, he does awfully well. Like Tom Baker, it seems a natural fit.

Too bad about the Chapman film. Liars, the book and particularly the audiobook, is a good light, anecdotal, and, expectedly, silly read/listen. The Python lore has him as a very slippery subject, peculiar, private but also brazen, and his memoir played to that.

I tend to be picky, but I also hook into actors and actresses, seek out most everything they do, and they got me at Mads Mikkelsen too.

Its a drawback in the post-Davies era. Setting up a purely romantic aspect to the companions so, now, its always got to be about the flirty tag-along. Donna excluded, they go for the same magazine cover worthy, confident, modern girls. I love the idea of a companion that was reluctantly stuck with the Doc (or that he
