Dazzler album or death!

On that level, I'm a fan of both sequels, and it's just another huge reason why I love King Kong so much.

I guess I was expecing something a lot wilder and woolier, given her reputation as the Quirkmaster General.

Oh, I don't know about that…there's only so many superhero movies left to be made before they go the way of boy wizards, and he seems like he'd be pretty far down the list.

But dinosaurs are more awesome than sharks by a factor of about a million. The last thing I want to do with dinosaurs is have to imagine what they look like - I've been doing that since I was a year old. The movie's whole hook was what it WOULD show you. And it delivered, for 1993.

I would've been 19 when They're All Gonna Laugh At You came out, listened to it like a hundred times, and honestly still remember it fondly. Which is weird, because Sandler's participation in anything has, for a long time, made me far less likely to check it out. I get a pretty serious case of cognitive dissonance…

I don't know about regional as you're saying it (I'm in Canada) but the people I've known who liked it the most were always small-town guys. The city guys like myself never had that much of a use for it.

There was some "boo, racism!" criticism leveled its way, but I think more of it was along the lines of "Holy shit, I can't believe the way this guy treats his wife."
