Oh, and ditto on the Slow Show love. Too often overlooked, but it might be my favorite song on the album.

Boxers a masterpiece, but it's tied with Alligator for me. Just couldn't choose between them. And in a echo of my Frightened Rabbit comment above, I've got tickets for one of their UK shows and that, if anything, is even more exciting.

The New Frightened Rabbit album is brilliant. I cant sum it up any better than this review has:

Yeah, Tom Audience really struck out with this one. Such a meaningless complaint. And I bet he's the kind of guy who worries that Vampire Weekends use of African scented rhythm patterns is an act of musical colonialism, too.

"People love to talk up Krieger, but they shouldn't sell Sterling short."

"gotta get that heart rate down buddy!"

This is the first "FIRST" I have ever enjoyed.

"Apparently nobody here recognizes actors unless they're in huge blockbuster movies."

"Perimeter"

"We're definitely with 'Caprica' for the long haul,"

I can't find it now, but I read something online a few days ago that quoted some fella from syfy saying they were 100% behind the show or some such stuff…

Sex conducted at gunpoint. But in a non-rapey way. And with extra torture "games".

…and an unnessesary " 's " too!

Improving ratings…public comments of support from the network…increasingly gripping content…

Yeah, it's nice, but as I said, it could be another 'Daniel' moment!

I thought I heard that Root was playing a parole officer?

Spot on, D.D.

Ohhh, I think think Jack's into Hotness alright. The real problem will be when Audrey turns up, and he's all conflicted and shit. Or, failing that, when he finds Hotness's limp, lifeless, bloody corpse in his apartment after the CTU fella he got to drop her off turns out to be a mole, or something.

When Jack promised him things would be okay, I cheerfully predicted his death. And once he'd successfully got Marcos to the trap, I was sure he had a lead salad coming his way.
