I agree. The writing with Paul just seems off. He starts off as a REALLY bad monitor. He's supposed to literally monitor a person and he can't tell that she's a completely different woman after coming back from a short trip. He then decides to move out for some reason and even though he has a tracking device on her

But we don't know a lot of these things? Has he said in the show that it's "to taunt and as a sick form of self expression" or is that just inferred? IMO, it's like saying, "we know Hannibal is a human, so that explains why he has to eat". Knowing that doesn't make the character interesting.

"There, the pilot immediately drops us into a story where Hannibal Lecter is an active serial killer, and that simple fact gives us a better sense of both who he is and what drives him and what drives the characters around him, even though they don’t know this simple fact of his existence. "

I agree that Mos Wanted had a weaker performance. Elektrolytes had a lot of really fun and interesting tricks that flowed well into the performance.

I can't agree with the complaints because they sound extremely nitpicky and even contradictory.

My friend and I were discussing this. Do we think it's obvious because we already know what really happened or did they hand over too much information?

Stealing jokes from the GoT Newbies section. Nice.

8 Flavahz has been really strong throughout. I thought they had a really fantastically emotional performance and sometimes that's better than, "hey you all spun at the same time and did b-boying and stuff." The show has never been purely about talent. It's also about image, which is obviously why Mos Wanted or

You're right. You do have a lack of tact. Who the hell says that they're going to keep weeping and mourning? The girl's mom just died. If she weeps and mourns, that's her right, but I doubt that's what 8 Flavahz will be about.

I didn't even realize that ABDC was back on until I saw the review for it on AVC, so thanks for doing it! I really do hope you guys have a weekly recap as well.

I liked the pilot a decent amount. More than I expected, which isn't necessarily hard to surpass considering how annoying the bombardment of the previews got. Sure Jess is socially awkward, but I think she's a fun and quirky kind of character. Obviously she's going to cause some controversy because there are always

As shitty as season 3 and 4 of True Blood have been, this season finale was SURPRISINGLY good. I don't know if it was the writers or the director or what, but even the actors were on the ball this episode. It really caught me off guard because I was expecting a ton of BS to come forth at the end, but this was solid

People say that you shouldn't take True Blood too seriously because it's camp, but being camp/kitsch doesn't mean a show should have shitty story telling.

I hope you see how ironic your comment is. "I hate that people bitch, so I'm going to bitch too!"

That's the most truthful burn I've ever heard about True Blood

I actually didn't have as many issues as I would have expected with this episode considering we did get some development with characters and story. I think there have been FAR WORSE throughout the seasons.

Tommy's death was hugely wasted. His character was never likable, but his death could have been decent if he died with good reason. They should have kept things really good between Sam and Tommy and then had Tommie die by somehow helping Sam.

I 100% agree about their romance being both cheesy and boring. When two of your top characters are bogging down your show, you know something's wrong.
